9 MUSIC - WAIATA

A highly practical subject, in Year 9 Music you will have an opportunity to collaborate in a group- performance project, playing bass, guitar, piano, drums or singing. Your knowledge of tikanga around Taonga Pūoro will be developed through the practical creation of instruments. You will learn how to use Music technology to compose a song using loops and synths. Skills you will gain and develop though music are creativity, collaboration, co-operation and confidence.
