Course Description

Recommended Prior Learning

Level 2 Economics preferred


The course is theory based and looks at both micro and macro economics. We look at the theory behind consumer and producer choices and why the market is the best way to run the economy. Students study how the economy works as a whole. There are two internal research projects.

A 16 Credit NCEA Level 3 Course

Internal assessment 10 credits. External assessment 6 credits.
