Year 10 Art or in negotiation with Curriculum Leader


Level 1 Visual Art aims to build student competence with creative and practical art-making processes. Student work will be informed by investigation into personal, ethnic, cultural and political perspectives. Traditional and contemporary Māori Art and concepts form part of the framework for this course. 

Level 1 Art involves the use of various mediums including drawing, painting, and printmaking as well as some sculpture, design and photography. 

10 Internal credits and 5 External credits.
