Year 10 Art prepares students for future years within the art fields. Students will cover a range of skills and knowledge such as, drawing, painting and printmaking,  as well as one NCEA internal assessment that will provide credits for the following year. During the course of the year, students will gain a vast range of skills that are enjoyable and will set them up for a successful year in Year 11 and thereafter.

We have achieved very high levels of student entry into tertiary education in the visual art area. They have successfully gained employment in various areas of, art, design and photography. We are very proud of the success of our students and strive to build on skills to give our students the best possible career opportunities.
